This hybrid cable consists of 5 insulated copper wires and 1 loose tube. The tube and copper wires are stranded around a dielectric central strength member. The loose tube contains 4 MM 50/125 µm OM2 color-coded optical fibers and is filled with a thixotropic gel to prevent the ingress of water.
Dry water-swelling Aramid and Glass yarns(to serve as peripheral strength members and as a dielectric armor) reinforce the cable core and an outer jacket completes the cable structure.
