General Construction:

The cable contains 6 color-coded OM3 optical fibers in 1 loose tube. The tube is filled with a thixotropic gel to prevent the ingress of water and is SZ stranded around a dielectric central strength member with 4 fillers  to preserve cable geometry. An inner jacket is extruded over fiber-glass strength yarns reinforcing the cable core.  A corrugated steel armor is longitudinally applied over the inner jacket. An outer jacket is simultaneously extruded over the armoring and a self-supporting steel messenger wire forming a "Figure-8" shape.
